The Cibola National Wildlife Refuge regularly reports its estimated bird counts for the Cibola Valley area on a weekly basis throughout the waterfowl season.

Q: When is the best time to visit the Cibola Sportsman's Club for the best chance to bag geese?
A: Our club experiences consistent hunting throughout the waterfowl season. However, from November 15th through December 25th has historically demonstrated the highest concentration of birds in the Cibola Valley.
