F.A.Q.

Q: What are the minimum license requirements for hunting ducks and geese in Arizona?

A: Every hunter must have in possession at the minimum a valid hunting license, an Arizona Waterfowl stamp, and a Federal Waterfowl stamp.

Q: May son or daughter is only 13 years old. Will he or she need a hunting license?

A: Children under the age of 14 do not need to have a hunting license in possession. However, they do need to be accompanied with a fully licensed adult. Children between the ages of 14 through 17 will need to purchase a youth hunting license. They are not required to have the waterfowl stamps until they reach their 16th birthday. Once a young person reaches their 18th birthday they will be required to have in possession an adult hunting license and waterfowl stamps.

Q: I already have a Federal Waterfowl Stamp on my California hunting license. Do I have to purchase another one for my Arizona license?

A: No. But you do have to have your Federal Waterfowl stamp in possession. Be sure to bring your California license with the stamp on it, with you when you hunt in Cibola.
