Onc
e again we had a phenomenal Dove season,
although limits took a little longer to
obtain this season, there were plenty of
dove to be had for all. We’d like to
take the opportunity to thank all of
customers and fellow hunters for keeping
this season safe attributing to a great
hunt. Additionally we would like to
thank Jim Niemiec for the great pictures
and article he wrote about Cibola
Sportsman’s Club Dove Hunt that’s
published in the Western Outdoor News.
If you don’t receive the paper copy,
visit

to read the full article. Another
handful of thanks goes out to
Jesse James of Jesse’s Hunting
and Outdoor web forum for his picture’s,
video and blogs of not only the club but
the whole Cibola valley.
Now that
Dove season is midstream, we are
viscously working to replant a new
alfalfa crop in both our North and South
Ranch fields and prepare for the
upcoming Duck/Goose seasons. The new
crop along with the recent flooding of
the Hart Mine Marsh makes for promising
hunting this Duck/Goose season. We
noticed ducks are already holding in the
tulles within the marsh and feel that
the marsh will only add to the flocks
that piled into both the North and South
Ranch fields this year.
This year
something new we’re considering is
memberships for the season. For a set
price hunters will be have guided hunts
at either the South or North Ranch
(depending on which is shooting the
best). For more information on
memberships, hunts or accommodations
please call Tim Corbett @
